The kids came over tonight and we made gingerbread (graham cracker) houses.

Now there's family values for ya!
We played with our food tonight. We had create your own pizzas. Victoria and Adam made elaborate crusts stuffed with cheese, brushed with butter and sprinkled with spices. Victor and I piled our pizza high with sautéed red peppers and onions, spinach, bacon, diced tomatoes and lots of cheese. The crust was especially good from The Best Recipe by the authors of Cooks Illustrated.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm. I have not had luck making my own dough. I opt for Trader Joe's on the way home. You'll have to teach me one day!
